Halifax Surf School is very proud to be located at the incredible Martinique Beach in East Petpeswick, Nova Scotia! Martinique Beach is Nova Scotia's most consistent and best surfing beach. You have a greater chance of finding surfable waves here more often than anywhere else in the province. While driving through the community of East Petpeswick on your way to Martinique Beach, you will be treated to iconic coastal scenes of lobster fishing boats and maritime beauty.

400 meters before arriving at the beach on the left is our surf shop. You can stop here to pick up rental gear or grab some souvenirs. If you're surfing between June and September, you can head right down to our beach kiosk location to get your rental gear. This is also where we meet our students for lessons. As you pull into the park, you will see us in the first parking lot that you come to on the right hand side.

Please note that we do sometimes close for strong storms, lack of surf or extra large surf. If you're prebooked, we will let you know the day before. If you're showing up without a reservation, you can text 902-789-5483 to make sure we're open.
